Facility setup
Saves on this computerConfigure the scenarios to reflect your approved site procedure. These settings do not establish regulatory compliance and cannot authorize unsafe operations.
Site hazard emphasis
Selected hazards appear in the scenes and must be found and called out by the learner. Unselected hazards don't appear.
RDS Dock Master V0.2
A lightweight instructor-led or individual practice simulator that teaches dock restraint decisions and hazard recognition. All graphics are drawn within the application as SVG; no external images, libraries, fonts, or network calls.
Five scenarios
Normal dock arrival; restraint can't engage (or, for chock-based sites, a chock that won't seat); pressure to override (or to skip chocks); uncoupled trailer; trailer movement and stop-work.
How scoring works
Unsafe choices are actions that would put someone at risk — entering before the trailer is secured, overriding before backups are in place, finishing the load on a moving trailer. Hints are counted when a learner picks a reasonable action too early, tries to start work before calling out every hazard, or asks for help. Conservative choices, like taking a door out of service, are never penalized. Action buttons are shuffled each run, so the order on screen isn't the answer.
Safety boundaries
This is a training prototype, not a standalone safe-work procedure or proof of regulatory compliance. Alternative controls, chock placement, trailer stands, driver policies, and override authorization require site-specific validation. Stop and follow approved site instructions when equipment is broken or conditions are unsafe.
